How many pages does Aria read each day? 48 students line up in 6 equal rows. How many students are in each row? A rope 10 feet long is cut into pieces 5 feet long.
Tips for using it
- Draw a quick picture of each story before writing the number sentence.
- Say every division fact as a multiplication question: 42 divided by 6 means 6 times what is 42?
- In long division, line up the digits in columns; graph paper or wide spacing stops most mistakes.
- Check the answer by multiplying back and adding the remainder.
