Hidden Pictures Printables

Updated October 2026 · 16 free printables

Free hidden pictures printables for kids: sixteen different scenes, from a forest walk, a sunny beach and a flower garden to a treehouse, a busy kitchen, a campsite by the lake, a city park and a castle. In every picture small objects are tucked into the drawing: a pencil pretends to be a tree branch, a banana droops like a palm frond, a teacup holds a plant like a flower pot. The strip at the bottom shows what to look for.

Easy pages hide 6 larger objects, medium pages 8 to 10, and hard pages up to 12 small ones turned at an angle. Four pages hide the numbers instead and two hide letters of the alphabet. Each PDF has the answer key on page 2 with every hidden picture circled in red, and the scenes are line art, so kids can color them in once the search is done.

Frequently asked questions

How do hidden pictures puzzles work?

Look at the small pictures in the strip at the bottom, then search the big scene for each one. The objects are drawn as part of the scene, so they can be turned sideways, upside down or disguised as something else. Circle each one you find and circle its picture in the strip too.

What age are these hidden pictures for?

Easy pages with 6 big objects suit ages 4 to 6. Medium pages work well for ages 5 to 8, and the hard pages with 10 to 12 small objects are a real challenge for ages 7 and up (and plenty of grown-ups).

Is there an answer key?

Yes. Page 2 of every PDF is the same picture with each hidden object, number or letter circled in red.

My child is stuck on the last object. Any hints?

Tell them which part of the picture to look in, like the sky or the fence. Also remind them that objects can be turned or pretend to be something else, like a sock that is part of a cloud.
