How to Draw a Football: step-by-step instructions
The new lines in each step are shown in red.
-

Step 1
Draw a long curved line like a rainbow. This is the top of the football.
-

Step 2
Draw a matching curve underneath so the two lines meet at pointy ends.
-

Step 3
Near each end, draw two lines across the ball for the white stripes.
-

Step 4
Draw a short line in the middle for the laces.
-

Step 5
Draw four little stitches crossing the lace line.
-

Step 6
Add motion lines behind the ball. Color it brown and keep the stripes and laces white. Touchdown!
-

Now color it!
Color the football brown and leave the two stripes white. The laces stay white too. Add your team's colors to the stripes if you like!
