About this dot-to-dot
Connect the dots from 1 to 30 to draw a snowman with a top hat, a carrot nose and stick arms, then color it in. With more dots to follow, it is great counting practice for kindergarten to 2nd grade. Page 2 of the PDF is the answer key with the finished picture. Some medium pages count by 2s or 5s, or follow the alphabet from A to Z. Say the number out loud each time you trace it.
Coloring ideas
- Trace the big number with a finger first, then color it in your favorite color.
- Count the pictures twice: once by pointing, once by coloring a dot on each one.
- Use real objects like coins or pasta to build the number before writing it.
- Put a finger on the next number before drawing the line, so the pencil never jumps to the wrong dot.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
