About this dot-to-dot
Connect the dots from 1 to 50 to draw a turtle walking in the grass on a sunny day, then color it in. Lots of dots and small numbers make it a real challenge for kids 7 and up. Page 2 of the PDF is the answer key with the finished picture. Fifty or a hundred small numbers make it a real challenge for kids 7 and up, and fun for adults too. Use real objects like coins or pasta to build the number before writing it.
Coloring ideas
- Say the number out loud each time you trace it.
- Trace the big number with a finger first, then color it in your favorite color.
- Count the pictures twice: once by pointing, once by coloring a dot on each one.
- Put a finger on the next number before drawing the line, so the pencil never jumps to the wrong dot.
Printing tips
