About this worksheet
A free letter F tracing worksheet: a big F and f with numbered start dots and arrows that show the stroke order, two rows of uppercase F and two rows of lowercase f that fade from dashed letters to start dots, and a frog to color with the word "frog" to trace. Little ones can do most of it with crayons, and a grown-up can read the short questions aloud.
Tips for using it
- Say the letter name and its sound out loud each time your child traces it: "B, buh, ball".
- Trace the big letter with a finger first, then a crayon, then a pencil, so the movement is learned before neatness counts.
- Praise good starts: if the pencil begins on the green dot and follows the arrow, the letter is right even if it wobbles.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
