About this game
A creativity page built on one shape: six rectangles, the first already turned into a bus as an example. Kids make the other five into something new each time (ideas: a bus, a door, a book, a phone, a train car, a bed, a bar of chocolate or a flag) and write what each one became. Big pictures and only a few tasks per page make it a gentle start for kindergartners.
Tips for using it
- Say the shape's name and spin the page; a triangle upside down looks like an ice cream cone.
- Ask what the shape could be if it were tiny, and what if it were huge.
- Add a line under the box for the name of the thing, and spell it together.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
