About this game
Five guess-the-drawing cards, each showing apple, ice cream cone, cupcake, balloon and kite in four steps. A grown-up copies the drawing onto a whiteboard one step at a time while the kids guess what it is going to be. The answer is printed on each card. Little ones can do most of it with crayons, and a grown-up can read the short questions aloud.
Tips for using it
- Draw step 1 big and slow; the guessing starts with the first line.
- Make guessers say a whole sentence (I think it's a cat because of the ears) to build language.
- Give one point per correct guess and one to the drawer if nobody gets it before step 4.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
