About this worksheet
Cupcakes, donuts, lollipops, ice cream and cookies in five pattern rows. Kids cut out the five treats at the bottom and glue each one in the right row. The answer key is on page 2. It suits ages 4 to 6, and little ones can count the pictures with a finger.
Tips for using it
- Point to each item and say it out loud, then say what comes next before drawing it.
- Name the pattern with letters once your child gets it: red, yellow is an AB pattern.
- Use real objects (blocks, buttons, snacks) to build the same pattern before doing the page.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the worksheet and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. The PNG shows page 1 only. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
