About this game
A picture puzzle for the eyes: a line drawing of a snowman cut into four pieces, scattered around the page and turned upside down. Kids figure out what the whole picture is, write their guess and draw it in one piece. Page 2 shows the drawing put back together. It matches first grade goals, roughly ages 6 to 7. Shade the snowballs with light blue.
Tips for using it
- Keep the snowman white and color the scarf in bright stripes.
- Look for the biggest piece first; it usually shows the most.
- Turn the page around to see an upside-down piece the right way up.
- Guess early and change your mind; wrong guesses are part of the fun.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the game and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. The PNG shows page 1 only. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
