About this game
Six started drawings to finish: pumpkin, ghost, Christmas tree, snowman, heart and star. Each box shows only the first shape or two, so kids decide how the rest looks, add the details and color the picture. Copy a starter onto the whiteboard to play it as a take-turns game. It is made for pre-K and preschool, roughly ages 4 to 5, with big pictures and one number per page. Give each pumpkin a slightly different shade of orange.
Tips for using it
- Red, pink and purple hearts are perfect for Valentine's Day.
- Try a rainbow of hearts.
- Keep the snowman white and color the scarf in bright stripes.
- Turn the page around: a squiggle looks different upside down, and the idea may jump out.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
