Finish the Squiggle: Squiggles
The classic squiggle game on paper: six boxes with a wave, a zigzag, a loop, an arch, a spiral and a hook, and kids turn each one into a picture. There is no right answer, which makes it a favorite for shy drawers and a fun one to compare when two people get the same page.

About this game
The classic squiggle game on paper: six boxes with a wave, a zigzag, a loop, an arch, a spiral and a hook, and kids turn each one into a picture. There is no right answer, which makes it a favorite for shy drawers and a fun one to compare when two people get the same page. It is made for pre-K and preschool, roughly ages 4 to 5, with big pictures and one number per page.
Tips for using it
- Turn the page around: a squiggle looks different upside down, and the idea may jump out.
- Ask where the picture is: adding a ground line or a sky makes a drawing feel finished.
- Let the first idea stand; there is no wrong way to finish a squiggle.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
