About this game
Six started drawings to finish: rocket, sailboat, kite, balloon, umbrella and fish. Each box shows only the first shape or two, so kids decide how the rest looks, add the details and color the picture. Copy a starter onto the whiteboard to play it as a take-turns game. Big pictures and only a few tasks per page make it a gentle start for kindergartners.
Tips for using it
- Turn the page around: a squiggle looks different upside down, and the idea may jump out.
- Ask where the picture is: adding a ground line or a sky makes a drawing feel finished.
- Let the first idea stand; there is no wrong way to finish a squiggle.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
