About this worksheet
A round owl with ear tufts, big eyes, wings and feathers on a branch. The empty grid has larger squares, so kids enlarge the drawing, just like artists scale up a sketch. The answer key is on page 2. It is built for fourth grade, around ages 9 to 10.

Tips for using it
- Copy one square at a time and check where each line enters and leaves the square before you draw.
- Draw lightly in pencil first; when the whole picture is in place, trace over it and color it.
- Turn the example picture upside down for a challenge: it stops your brain from guessing and makes you copy what you really see.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the worksheet and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. The PNG shows page 1 only. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
