About this worksheet
A free printable find the wrong floor in each number house worksheet with an answer key. One floor in each house does not add up to the roof number. Circle it, then fix it below the house. Second graders usually finish it in 10 to 15 minutes. Say each bond out loud: 6 and 4 make 10.
Tips for using it
- Use counters split into two piles to check a tricky bond.
- Fill the floors in order (0, 1, 2 ...) and watch one number go up while the other goes down.
- Use fingers or 10 counters: split them into two groups for each floor of the house.
- Check a finished floor by adding the two windows; the sum must match the roof every time.
